The members of the Kiwanis Club of Rolling Hills Estates are delighted that you are interested in supporting the Annual PALOS VERDES HALF – Half Marathon and 5K to be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The races run from 7am to 1 pm with start and finish at Pelican Cove Park, adjacent to the 4 star ocean-front Terranea Resort.

Your sponsorship/partnership helps give unparalleled service to children and the elderly through numerous community organizations and charities: Project Shoe and a Christmas Party for needy children through Volunteers of America and Boys and Girls Clubs; REACH, a program for developmentally disabled persons; The Jester and Pharley Phund which provides books for seriously and terminally ill children; the San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA; Toberman Neighborhood Center; Harbor Interfaith, Freedom 4U; John Jakes Cancer Center; scholarships to high school students; grants to the Peninsula Education Foundation and support to many other non-profit organizations. Additionally, Kiwanis “Key Club” youth auxiliaries at Palos Verdes and Peninsula High Schools are sponsored and supported in community service and school projects helping students learn the value of leadership and service.

SUPPORTERS of the HALF – $500 cash or in-kind contributions

WATER STATION / MILE MARKER Sponsor – $250 cash contribution

  • Sponsor one of the eight water stations, or thirteen mile markers along the course route and your company banner or advertisement will be displayed at the water station or mile marker and your name will appear on the Sponsor Board in the Staging Area on race day.

ROAD CONE SPONSOR – $50 cash contribution

  • The race course is marked with 1000 road cones to provide a safe event for running and walking participants. Contribute $50 on one or more road cones and your name will appear on the cone and on the Sponsor Board in the Staging area on race day.
